The name "Vicious Cycle" pays homage to our CEO's upbringing in the Crenshaw district of South Los Angeles. Established in 2017 by Jesus Rivera, our roots run deep in neighborhoods where resources and opportunities are scarce.
That's why our motto is simple: "Break the Cycle." We believe in charting new paths and embracing opportunities that may not always be apparent. It's about staying true to yourself and defying the labels society imposes. Let's rewrite the narrative and become positive influences in our communities. Your circumstances don't define your future—let's break free from the cycle and shape our own destinies.

He also did an internship for Nipsey Hussle, in his co-working space Vector 90, until unfortunately Hussle lost his life.”
“I went the audio engineering route and I was never a fan of school but this was different I would often catch myself having fun working and learning on music. As I was in school, I would try and engineer my friends so I can learn how to work with clients in a real studio setting just to gain experience and stay consistent with my craft. Within months It was second nature to me and I felt comfortable in the studio because it was an environment where I can be myself and express myself without fear of judgment.”

Today Big Zeus is focused on creating a platform for emerging entrepreneurs in the music sector and improving its community. This important goal in Zeus' radar led him to create the independent label Vicious Cycle. Under the motto of "Break The Cycle" and thanks to the guidance of Big Zeus, Vicious Cycle aims to break generational curses, financial instability and emotional trauma.
Born and raised on the southside of Chicago, the songwriter/producer has been in love with the story telling elements found in music all his life. He aims to incorporate stories of his own into the music he writes along with being able to elevate his friends, family, and community through telling their stories within his music as well.
